Megabus Retreat

Welcome to Megabus Retreat,

A transformative program established under the
provisions of the Isakson and Roe Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020.

Our mission is to provide reintegration and adjustment services through group retreats, extending to exclusive events tailored for women Veterans only, Male retreats only and Couples only.

Our project aims to create a sanctuary for eligible clients, enhancing their readjustment counseling experience. Designed for cohorts grappling with symptoms of PTSD and trauma related to combat, military sexual trauma, or military service, our retreat program offers a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Reintegration into Family, Employment, and Community:

Through a blend of group and individual activities, we offer skill-building sessions and information on reintegrating into various aspects of life. Our goal is to boost self-esteem, foster trust, and equip participants with the tools needed for recovery and transition assistance.

Financial Counseling and Education:

Personalized sessions provide
essential financial management skills, including budgeting, debt
management, and credit building, empowering individuals to take control of their finances and set future goals.

Occupational Counseling:

Our assessments help identify participant's occupational profiles and skills, guiding them towards fulfilling career paths
and offering interventions for career direction modification.

Stress Reduction Techniques:

Group and individual activities focus on stress management strategies tailored to individual needs, aiming to alleviate
stress resulting from combat experiences and daily life.

Conflict Resolution:

Through various group and individual exercises, we
address sources of conflict and offer practical solutions for resolution, tailored specifically for women combat veterans.

From outdoor adventures like hikes and camping to insightful workshops, Megabus Retreat provides a holistic approach to healing and transition.

Our retreat program offers both individual assistance and group activities, fostering bonds among participants.
